Bridegrooms name: Nicholas Needham
Wedding date: April 26, 2014
The meeting:
The romance for Nic and Catherine got off to a lukewarm start, on the running track around Catherine’s local area.
It was 2003.
Three years later, the couple were catching the same train from the city in Melbourne in the evenings.
Catherine was attending TAFE in Fitzroy and Nic was working in the city.
After going out on another run, the couple ran into each other at the driveway of Catherine’s parents house, where Catherine recognised Nic from the train journeys.
(She had no idea he was the ‘running guy’ from 2003)
Catherine asked Nic if he wanted to car pool to the train station, as they both lived on the same street in Romsey.
This carpooling idea resulted in a mutual kiss, and they have been together ever since.
A few weeks into the relationship Nic told Catherine about the previous running incident, which they are always laugh about now.
