The Bare Your Soul for Baker workouts were held by CrossFit Dauntless from 5.45am to 7pm.
Mr Baker was killed in a speed boat accident in Sydney's north just over a fortnight ago.
Funds were raised for the father-of-four's family with donations to workout as well as a silent auction that was held last night.
Kim Stevens, who organised the fundraiser and was a close friend of Mr Baker, said the fundraiser had exceeded expectations.
"It was an exceptional turnout and on the whole has been a massive success," Mr Stevens said.
"More importantly it was about the financial aspect it was great to see the community pull together."
The workout of the day was a set of eight burpees, 11 jump squats, 24 box jumps and 14 double-unders.
One participant, Alex Harper, took part in all 27 workouts yesterday.
Mr Harper said he wanted to contribute to the fundraiser.
"I wanted to do something different," he said.
"It was about baring your soul and I thought completing all 27 workouts would do that for me."
Mr Harper, a coach at CrossFit Dauntless, said he was a big believer in training both strengths adn weaknesses and getting outside your comfort zone.
"I definitely was outside my comfort zone today," he said.
"My first workout was at 5.30am and my last was at 6.30pm.
“I wanted to stop at about 1pm but my mates urged me on. There was a lot of big support towards the end.”
Mr Stevens said he wouldn't know the final tally of the fundraiser until he went to the bank on Monday.
Mr Stevens thanked Strah Hill Butchers, Joanne Baker for letting CrossFit Dauntless use Mr Baker's name and all the community members who contributed to the day.
