First of the senior events will be about 7.30pm on the Barnard Street track.
Dempster's outstanding record includes a Bendigo International Madison victory in 2006, a Melbourne to Warrnambool title, and Austral Wheelrace crown.
The cycling star from Castlemaine raced for NetApp-Endura in this year's Tour de France.
Dempster is a mutliple monthly winner in the Bendigo Bank Bendigo Advertiser Sports Star of the Year awards.
Now in its 50th year, Sports Star is proudly supported by Prime 7.
