Blicavs has been a standout for the Spirit this season, averaging a career-high 12.6 points a game.
The 21-year-old said she had been enjoying her basketball, particularly over the past month.
“I have had a bit more clarity,” Blicavs said.
“Having a talk with Bernie (Harrower), I worked out my role and what he wants from me.
“I have started to have that belief in myself.
“It is amazing how once you have that confidence what you are able to do.
“That is what happened and I am really enjoying my basketball.”
In the game against Adelaide she scored 20 points and had eight rebounds.
However, her performance against the Rangers was her best to date when she scored a massive 24 points, grabbed four rebounds and dished out two assists.
Blicavs said the Spirit was continuing to build.
She said the team was continuing to improve its game and says their defence has played a big part in their past three wins.
“Ever since the Perth game we knew we needed to work on our defence and that is what we have done,” Blicavs said.
“Against Adelaide it was good, against Dandenong it was even better and against Townsville that was one of our best performances.
“Everyone is helping each other, everyone has each other’s back out on court and that is a good feeling to have.”
Blicavs said she was expecting another tough match against Melbourne on Saturday afternoon.
Back in round two the Spirit scored a nine-point victory against the Boomers.
They have since won three games and lost another two.
“I find that we always have good matches against Melbourne,” Blicavs said.
“They are a young group; they are fast to run the floor and are so unpredictable.”
The Spirit will host the Boomers on Saturday at the Bendigo Stadium.
Tip-off is at 3pm.
