Mr Clapp, from The Good Guys, is asking parents to drop into the Williamson Street store and nominate their super children by December 12, 2014.
Mr Clapp said one entrant will be announced the winner the following week.
He said good deeds could include helping with chores around the house or raising money for charity.
"We have loads of great little heroes in our area," Mr Clapp said.
"So we are looking for one local super good kid who has done some good, helped out the local community and most likely set a great example along the way.
"They may have participated in a local fundraiser or helped a local charity, or they may have worked to raise awareness of a cause at school or sporting club.
"Whatever shape their super good support for the community takes, The Good Guys want to hear about it so that we can say a huge thanks and crown them our local super good kid."
Mr Clapp said he knew lots of children who had done good deeds and picking a winner would be tough.
The competition is part of the Good Guys Local Giving Program.
The program sees a percentage of every transaction in store and online donated back to community organisations - to help them continue doing good in the local community.
Mr Clapp said he believed it was important for Bendigo businesses to give back to the community.
"It's about making a difference in the community," Mr Clapp said.
"All our staff actively participated in community activities. I think it's part of our role as a business to set an example for others to follow."
The major prize includes a Super Marvel-inspired kit.
The store is located at 107 Williamson Street, Bendigo.
