“I welcome every opportunity to debate and discuss policies and ideas with the local community. Social media provides a new opportunity to engage with voters, and answer their questions,” Ms Allan said.
“Voters deserve to know what candidates think about the things that matter to them. It’s not enough just to put out brochures and advertising material.
"Fronting up and engaging with the community is a critical part of being an elected representative.”
