He stressed three important issues:
He would welcome superannuation funds investing in community housing projects. He was confident that regular pre-paid rentals would result in a sound return of five per cent.
In his opinion the government should quarantine “negative gearing” on existing housing stock to encourage investment in new housing to generate supply.
His company insists that its housing programs are well built with modern facilities, including garages and air-con etc.
He criticised government housing programs for including outdated designs and equipment, often at inflated prices.
