The rink of Castlemaine skipper Rick Parr was in dominant form with a 37-15 belting of Andrew Brown that set the Maine on the path to victory.

• Eaglehawk handed Bendigo East its third-straight loss with a 99-80 victory.

Both sides won two rinks apiece, but it was the victories of the rinks of Eaglehawk skippers Simon Carter and the unbeaten Tony Ellis that tipped the result the way of the ladder-leading Hawks.

• Inglewood won its second game of the season with a crushing 117-73 victory at home over Kangaroo Flat.

Inglewood’s score of 117 was its highest since its return to division one in 2008-09.

The rinks of Daryl Rowley (33) and David Vanston (39) combined for 72 shots for Inglewood in the 44-shot hiding, which continued an ordinary season for Kangaroo Flat.

• Reigning premier Golden Square bounced back from consecutive losses to defeat South Bendigo 100-92.

Square won three of the rinks, while the rink of Greg Sherman did its best to keep South Bendigo in the game with a 12-shot victory over Garri Conforti.
