A charity motorcycle ride from Bendigo to Gisborne will raise funds for the hospital's paediatric rehabilitation department.
The money will be used to buy a tricycle and Kelly Chair - a piece of equipment that helps children who have physical support needs participate in upper limb rehabilitation.
Event organiser Charlie Bovalino said several other rides had been organised during the year.
He said it was the least that could be done to help the children with their rehabilitation.
"A lot of these kids have chronic illnesses and had to go down to Melbourne for their rehabilitation," he said.
"By raising money and buying the equipment it means families don't have to, they can stay in Bendigo."
The ride leaves from Gateway Park, Kangaroo Flat at 10am on Sunday. Registration is at 9am. Entry is by gold coin donation.
