The team includes six players with links to the Bendigo District Cricket Association.
Bendigo Cricket Club all-rounder Nathan Fitzpatrick has been named captain of the team.
Sandhurst Cricket Club duo Liam Bowe and Isaac Conway, who is now playing at Essendon, have been selected.
Strathfieldsaye young gun Xavier Crone, former Huntly North Epsom player Ryan Hartley, who is now at Prahran, and explosive White Hills star Brayden Stepien have all been selected to represent the Northern Rivers team.
Jack Neylon from Strathdale-Maristians was named an emergency.
Selectors say they had trouble picking the team to play in the championship as there were so many talented players trialing for the side.
