IT was an epic battle with heat, hills and roadkill, but Charter Hall managers Will Green and James Dann made it through their 153-kilometre run on Thursday.
The pair were "pretty exhausted" but happy they persisted with their ambitious endeavour - completed over three days to raise money for a Haven; Home, Safe development.
Driver Ross McKay, the manager of Lansell Square, said it was "amusing" to watch the pair sweat.
"It was quite amusing to be with these guys," he said.
"They were looking rough at some points but they powered through.
"Every day was a major challenge."
Both men said the run was harder than they had anticipated, but they were thrilled to raise $11,000 for Sidney Myer Haven, a housing development for people at risk of homelessness.
The charity deals with breaking the cycle of homelessness.

Charter Hall, which owns Lansell Plaza, has raised a total of almost $25,000 for Sidney Myer Haven through various initiatives.
Mr Green said the development was a fantastic project.
"The charity deals with breaking the cycle of homelessness, rather than just dealing with the effects," he said.
The project will involve the development of a 23-unit, medium-term residential complex for singles, couples and families and provide them with a development program to help them become engaged in the community.
The residential complex will be built on the former nursery site in Somerville Street, two kilometres from Bendigo's central business district.
Haven; Home, Safe chief executive Ken Marchingo previously told the Bendigo Advertiser the development would be a pioneer for the future delivery of crisis accommodation and homelessness programs in Bendigo.
"Program participants will be seeking to make a change in their lives and be prepared to move out of their comfort zone," Mr Marchingo said.
Both Mr Green and Mr Dann were planning to attend the Haven; Home, Safe annual general meeting on Thursday night, before heading to the pub for a few celebratory drinks.
