Quirk's bowling average of 6.00 in the Bendigo District Cricket Association's under-18s has him ranked No.4 on the nation-wide MyCricket website for under-18 boys.
Quirk's season figures in the under-18s for the Redbacks so far read 11-66 off 19.3 overs, with his best return his 6-8 off 5.3 overs in the second innings against Sandhurst last weekend.
The three bowlers above Quirk on the list of best under-18 averages are Oakhill College's Aidan Chapman (4.00); Oxley College's Ruben Seaton (4.42); and St Pius X College's Dermott Beattie (5.46).
Quirk will have to cool his heels this weekend, with the Redbacks having the bye in the BDCA under-18s.
