THE Bendigo Bank Junior Braves have made a successful start to their basketball season with several teams winning titles at the Swan Hill Basketball tournament last month.

The Braves sent 16 representative teams to the event, ranging from under-12 to under-18 teams.
Seven of the teams made it to their grand final play-off games.
The under-12A boys, under-14A boys, under-16A boys, under-16b boys, under-12A girls and under-16A girls all winning their matches.
The under-12B boys were unsuccessful in their final.
“It was fantastic to see our teams well represented by all players and coaches,” director of coaching Jonathan Goodman said.
“It was a fantastic start to the squad season and a great foundation for future success.”
The Bendigo Junior Braves are now preparing for tournaments in both Geelong and Shepparton over coming months.
