Catholic College Bendigo student Neeja Thirunavukarasu was awarded the Young Women in Public Affairs Award and Crusoe College student Teehsa Smedley was awarded the Gwen Symons Scholarship.
Bendigo Zonta is proud that three of its past award winners have so impressed with their volunteer work and dedication to leadership that they were selected as international finalists.
This year 16 women applied for the scholarship and award.
"Zonta is really proud to support the education of girls in our community, and to put forward young leaders such as Neeja for consideration for the District and International levels of Young Women in Public Affairs awards," Zonta's Rosalie Lake said.
