Police will also use blood found at the scene to support their investigations.
EARLIER: A THIEF broke into Castlemaine Secondary College junior campus on Blakeley Road on Thursday night, stealing a number of musical instruments.
Castlemaine Police Acting Sergeant Erin Coleman said the break-in occurred at 11pm when the offender broke a window of the school's music room.
She said it appeared a number of guitars had been stolen.
Police are still investigating and are yet to identify a suspect or the value of the stolen items.
