Acting Sergeant Wayne Rowe said about 25 members patrolled the Bendigo Jockey Club during the day.
"There were no arrests, no assaults and no real incidents," he said.
"The only thing we had was a 16-year-old with a false ID."
Acting Sergeant Rowe said police made four arrests in Bendigo's CBD from 11pm onwards last night.
He said he was unsure if they were cup-related.
The comments follow on from Acting Sergeant Peter Dyer who said it was the best cup-crowd behaviour he had seen in his 18 years of working the event. Full store HERE.
