Central Victoria's best players were presented with awards for their efforts during this year's state title competition.
The under-17 netball team came close to winning the championship, however fell short, losing to North East in the grand final.
More than 50 people attended the presentation ceremony at the White Hills clubrooms, with Australian netballer and NSW Swifts star Sarah Wall the special guest.
Netball identities Betty Thompson and Bev O'Shea also attended.
O'Shea has been involved with playing, coaching, umpiring and being a part of netball administration for 50 years.
The Open team, led by premiership-winning Kangaroo Flat coach Janelle Hobbs, awarded Maddie Stewart as the best player.
Stewart, a Gisborne netballer, is a versatile player that can play in attack and defence.
