He joins Lin Jong as the only other Dogs player to be added to the primary list.
The 194cm key forward made his AFL debut in round 16 this season, playing a total of three games in the senior side.
Redpath, who also played with the Bendigo Bombers, booted two goals in his three games, with his best game coming against the Gold Coast Suns.
The 24-year-old was selected at pick 62 in the 2011 rookie draft.
As well as playing senior football this season, he also played 17 games with Footscray in the VFL, including their historic premiership victory against the Box Hill Hawks last month.
Redpath booted two goals in the 22-point win.
He ended the season with 17 goals and was named in the best players on four occasions.
Next year Redpath will get the chance to line up with the Dogs' highly prized recruit and former number one draft pick Tom Boyd and fellow Bendigo player Jake Stringer.
The Bulldogs will now enter the draft with five picks inside 46 including three second round selections.
