Matt Hartland and Jono Guy got the Butterflies off to a great start in a 9-7 win against Jack Baker and Blake Poyser.
Grant Leader won an entertaining singles clash with Jayd Davis, 8-6.
In the final set of the day, the Butterflies' Danielle Bowles and Bree Smith took on Simon Kelly and Bronwyn Osborne.
Kelly and Osborne won 9-7, but Butterflies won the contest, 7-75 to 5-74.

Corbin Fleming has become a dangerous floater filling in for different teams in back to back weeks.
Although Fleming and Sam Storer could not overcome Jamie Brown and Michael Smyth in an 8-6 doubles loss, Fleming bounced back with an 8-0 win against Brown.
Jess Hartland and Smyth won three sets.
BLTC Metro won 5-79 to 7-72.
Set of the day was the doubles between Isaac Watson and Ryan Leader of Quest against Rising Sun’s Sam McHarg and Terry Smith. It went all the way to a tiebreak, with the youngsters prevailing 9-8.
Rising Sun won 7-87 to 5-64.
