Victoria Police have released video footage of the man they believe was involved in the Bendigo East Post Office robbery four days ago.
Detective Senior Constable Adam Radley said the man was aged between 25 and 30, had a Caucasian, ruddy complexion, dark hair and was of a slight build.
Detective Senior Constable Radley said the man left the post office and headed north on Murphy Street.
"The video shows a lone male enter and produce a hand gun, he simply then demands the (patron) to fill the bag," he said.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au

Police are continuing investigations into the robbery at the post office.

Detectives are continuing to investigate an armed robbery at the East Bendigo post office this morning.
Police have been told that a man entered the McIvor Street post office about 9.50am.
The man approached the male attendant and made a demand for cash.
He was given an amount of cash and ran from the store.
He was last seen running along Murphy Street.
There were no other customers in the store and the post office employee was not injured.
The man is described as being aged between 25-30, with a slight build, 175-178cm tall and unshaven with a ruddy complexion.

UPDATE Saturday 11.15am:
The Criminal Investigation Unit are in attendance at a crime scene on the corner of McIvor Road and Murphy Street.
Senior Sergeant Greg Deveson said a single male offender wearing a black hoodie entered the McIvor Road post office just before 10am.
"He has had either a firearm or used his hand under his jumper to hold up the employee in the shop," Senior Sergeant Deveson said.
"He got away with a quantity of cash and ran in a northerly direction up Murphy Street where he was sighted by a resident."
Senior Sergeant Deveson said police are currently conducting door knocks in the area.
The criminal is not in custody and police are yet to identify him.
"We will be looking at all the CCTV footage from businesses in the area," Senior Sergeant Deveson said.
"We are calling on any information from the public who may have seen a tall male with a skinny build in a black hoodie in the area.
"Any information should be referred to the CIU."

BENDIGO Police have set up a crime scene at a post office in East Bendigo.
Officers have placed tape around the post office on the corner of McIvor Road and Murphy Street.
Police are believed to be responding to an armed robbery.
Police cars are patrolling the surrounding area.
People are being turned away from the post office.
