Highly immoral actions by the Abbott government re: the detaining of children is a moral issue which is the business of all of us.
And people of all faiths have the same right to protest moral issues as the rest of us.
And so they should. It was great to see them protesting.
The whole story was a bit of a beat-up, though. Why would staff in any politician's office be frightened of a demo staged by local religious folk?
They should have gone out to meet and speak with the protesters, and taken note of their concerns to relay to their employer.
To say that they were frightened is just ludicrous and a tad insulting to the protesters.
