The division one clash at South Bendigo’s greens in Palmerston Street, Quarry Hill will start at 6pm.
The hosts line-up for the clash with East will include Australian coach and Bowls Australia Hall of Fame member Steve Glasson in a one-off appearance.
A winner of 19 Australian titles, Glasson was the world’s No. 1 ranked bowler in 2004 and led Australia’s bowls rankings from 1997 to 2009.
He was among the panel of guests at Thursday’s sports night at South Bendigo Bowls Club.
Glasson teamed up his son Ben, bowls stars Matt Flapper and Samantha Shannahan, Olympic cycling champion Scott McGrory and AFL identity Billy Brownless at the sports night.
The bowls champions will be on South’s greens from 10am until 4pm on Friday to run a coaching and demonstration day.
Bowlers from all clubs are welcome to roll-up for this event.
In the pennant bowls action, South Bendigo will be determined to bounce back from a 33-shot in the opening round of the 2014-15 season at Bendigo Bowling Club.
Round two rolls on Saturday afternoon.
The ladder-leading Bendigo plays at Inglewood, unbeaten teams Golden Square and Castlemaine do battle at Square, and Eaglehawk hosts Kangaroo Flat on the Simpsons Road greens.
The Hawks and Roos were beaten in the season opener.
