Contestants in the competition will get the chance to win a shopping spree at their favourite Marketplace shop.
First prize is $500 while there is $300 up for grabs for second prize and $100 for third prize - all to be spent at the shop of their choice.
Wednesday's racing event will present a colourful array of delightful dresses and smart suits.
The Hot 100 tent will be set up just inside the main general admission gate.
Have your picture taken in the tent, fill out the entry form and you could be one of the 100 well-dressed Bendigo Cup patrons presented for public voting on the Bendigo Advertiser website from noon on Thursday.
Bendigo Marketplace manager Dannielle Downs said the fashion stores at the Marketplace offered a lot of choice for the budget-conscious fashionista.
Tarocash, Roger David and Man to Man cater for the men.
Portmans, Knot and Crop, Dotti, Jacqui E and Valley Girl cater for the women.
Roger David manager Sandra Wallace said there were too many trends to count this year.
"We like to think we are setting the scene for bringing Melbourne to country areas," she said.
"We are pushing for a nice dress down but still smart neat casual."
She said chinos in taupe or tan, paired with suspenders and a bow tie, would be an on-trend outfit.
Pairing that with a suit jacket or blazer would complement a geometric or floral print shirt.
"We are heading back to the 1930s and '40s with style," she said.
Portmans manager Angela Hall said this year's races trends were moving away from traditional silhouettes.
She said straight skirts and digital prints were an emerging trend among racegoers.
