More than 150 members from Bendigo participated in a series of activities - each of which highlighted how a healthy lifestyle leads to a happy and productive workplace.
Senior Sergeant John Dalton said activities included donating blood, taking part in gym sessions, having a health check and accompanying students to school.
We are always looking after the public but sometimes we need to take time out and look after ourselves. It is a great idea.

"It's about promoting fitness and health among our members," Senior Sergeant Dalton said.
"A healthy body leads to a healthy mind leads to a healthy workplace.
"I think it's really important to promote fitness and health and that (was) our main aim (at the wellbeing day)."
As part of the day, Sergeant Jason Hawke and Senior Constable Shannon Joyce patrolled Bendigo's central business district by bike.
"We are always looking after the public but sometimes we need to take time out and look after ourselves. It is a great idea," Sergeant Hawke said.
Sergeant Hawke said bike patrols were a great way for members to get out and about among the community.
"We can get to a lot of places cars can't get to and it's a lot quicker than the foot patrol," Sergeant Hawke said.
"A lot of people still are not looking out for the bikes, so we have that element of surprise and it's a good way to improve out fitness.
"We are not just sitting in the office, we are out and about."
Senior Sergeant Dalton said he hoped to make the wellbeing day an annual event.
