In countries where the living conditions are harsh and basic, life is not safe; the dark human side tends to gain the upper hand.
This can lead to nasty confrontations, bloody riots, terrorism, revolutions, or wars.
In spite of any biased claims to the contrary, Australia is one of the best countries to live in.
Our basic life is relatively secure.
Instead of fighting each other for survival, we are competing for a higher standard of life.
But there is always room for improvement.
For example, curbing criminal activities, family violence, drug and gambling addiction, alcoholism, poverty, road rage and so on.
