It was with amazement that you adamantly and animatedly responded
with information that was palpably incorrect.
You stated that in return for the $111m being removed from the CSIRO budget it was replaced with $66m for the RV Investigator, $32m for a reactor, $26m for nuclear fuel and $28m for promoting science.
Mr McFarlane, could you please indicate specifically which of these other than the RV Investigator is actually funding for the CSIRO?
I also find it quaint that you believe being the son and grandson of scientists provides a good qualification for being in charge of science across the Commonwealth!
I'm sure that plenty of people could have great fun with that sort of logic.
