More than 400 people attended the annual awards dinner at All Seasons Bendigo, taking the opportunity to dress to impress for the red carpet.
Keech Australia added another string to its business bow, winning the prestigious Bendigo Business of the Year award.
Awards chair Gerard House said he was pleased to see a number of new faces filling the 41 tables for the landmark event.
"Next to the Bendigo Cup, it's the only other event where everyone gets to dress up," he said.
"There's also an opportunity to recognise the 20 previous winners in the awards.
"It's important to highlight the diverse range of businesses that we have here in Bendigo."
Fourteen businesses received recognition for their hard work, innovation and service throughout 2014.
Epsom Sand and Soil Trading won the Bendigo Advertiser retail business category.
Other category winners included:
- Service professional: Strathfieldsaye Primary Health
- Trade and other services: Bendigo Accident Repair Centre
- Manufacturing and industrial: Keech Australia
- Hospitality/tourism: The Woodhouse Restaurant
- Local outlet, franchise or buying group: MacDonalds Plants Plus Nursery
- Small business (1-10 employees): Chateau Dore
- New business (less than three years): Brewhouse Coffee Roasters
- Not for profit/community service organisation: Baptcare Home-Start Bendigo
- Employee of the year: Katie Sutton
- Trainee/apprentice of the year: James Elliott
- Environmental: Epsom Sand and Soil Trading
- Commitment to a healthy workplace/business: Loddon Mallee Murray Medicare Local
