The winner for best hotel is the Cambrian.

Best licensed cafe goes to Bendigo Corner Store cafe with Sim'R getting highly commended.
UPDATE 7.15pm: The ASCA best barista is Locky Doherty from Cortille.
Healthy choices award goes to Cortille.
UPDATE 7.10pm: Bob Yam of the Malayan Orchid receives highly commended for best chef.
The winner of best chef is Greg Egan from the Brougham Arms.
UPDATE 7.05pm: The best front of house award goes to a "smart, confident, rock star of a manager."
Finn Vedelsby from Rocks on Rosalind takes it out.
"The food I deliver to our guests is what makes my job easy," Mr Vedelsby said.

Malayan Orchid are awarded the prize for best local wine cellar.
"Outrageous value for money" at the Cambrian Hotel winners of the best value for money award.
UPDATE 6.45pm: Award presentation is underway with the Woodhouse taking out the prize for best customer service award.
Cafe Cortille were awarded best coffee.
Best menu of local foods goes to Sim'R.
UPDATE 6.30pm: More than 80 people turned out to the Golden Plate Awards gala presentation dressed in 50s attire.
EARLIER:
THE best of the best in food and hospitality will be awarded with the prestigious Golden Award this evening.
People were encouraged to vote for their favourite restaurant in the People's Choice category.
The other categories were as follows: Golden Plate Winner, best customer service, best coffee, best menu of local foods, best cellar of local wine, best value for money, outstanding front of house person, Garuda best chef, ASCA best regional barista, judges innovation award, people's choice, healthy choices, best cafe - unlicensed, best cafe - licensed, best hotel, best relaxed dining and best contemporary dining.
Each restaurant nominated was categorised and judged.
An overall winner will be announced this evening along with a winner of each category.
