The team boasts 111 members - the most of any team registered. In the lead up, the team is participating in a fun run bootcamp.
AFS corporate services general manager Kate Mannix said participating in community events was part of the business' cultural community commitment.
"It's in line with AFS' commitment to give back to the community," she said.
"We are committed to supporting the community where possible, so it's good to be involved."
Ms Mannix said it was also a chance for staff to get out and about, with the focus on fitness and health.
She said the team consisted of staff and immediate family and friends.
The Bendigo Fun Run attracts thousands of participants each year.
Participants will take their marks in front of the Visitor Information Centre in Pall Mall before completing the inner city course with a choice of five, 10 and 15 kilometre events.
Money raised from this year's race will go towards buying new equipment for dialysis units at Bendigo Health.
Bendigo Health Foundation events co-ordinator Kiri Earl said there were many ways people can support the event, which was launched in July.
“You can enter the fun run as a participant, volunteer on the day or simply make a donation to the Bendigo Health Foundation,” she said.
“Through the generosity of our volunteers and the support of our sponsors we are able to guarantee 100 per cent of your entry fee will go towards purchasing new equipment for our Renal Dialysis service at Bendigo Health.”
All participants will again receive a gold medal at the finish line and the opportunity to enjoy a free healthy breakfast. People can register either as individuals or part of a team with family, friends or work mates.
