The Bendigo star finished second in the 65cc 11-12 years category, a feat he also achieved last year.
Hosted by the MacArthur Park MX Club in Appin in New South Wales, Liam finished in second place, 18 points behind winner Regan Duffy.
The 11-year-old, who had previously won the Australian championship, was up against the most talented motocross riders from across the nation.
Juniors from New Zealand and America were also competing.
In total about 90 juniors were aiming to win the national title.
Liam's father Craig Andrews said his son was happy with how he performed.
"He is rapt with the result," he said.
"He was up against the best in Australia and to come out with a second place finish was great."
Liam was fourth in the first race, third in the second race, second in the third race, second in the fourth race and a fourth place finish in the final race.
Liam also rode to a fifth place finish in the 85cc 9-12 years category.
He was 22 points behind winner Jett Lawrence.
Craig said a bad first race had cost his son winning a spot on the podium.
As well as finishing second at the national titles, Liam was also crowned champion at the Ravenswood Cup.
Liam won the 65cc category at the Bendigo event last month.
In August, Liam was also a part of the Australian team, who competed at the Junior Motocross World Championships in Belgium.
Craig said it was a great experience.
"He was headed for a top 10 finish but then we had some engine and mechanic issues, which cost him," he said.
Craig said Liam would now focus his attention on competing at the nationals next year, before applying to compete at the world championships in Russia in 2016.
The motorcross season ends in November and will begin in March next year.
"We will do a bit of skiing in the summer, keep him fit and then get back into it," Craig said.
