Theresa Nagy has been opening the gates to her garden at 48 Allan Street for the past eight years.
In that time she has raised about $10,000 for the Boort hospital.
Her property is the site of the Loddon Shire town’s former bakery.
Mrs Nagy said Korong Vale, 14 kilometres north of Wedderburn, was once a thriving railways town, with most of its population made up of railways staff and their families.
“Now it’s just in the middle of nowhere, but we are still doing things to keep the place alive,” Mrs Nagy.
“And we still like to support our local hospital.”
The open garden and market runs from 9am-5pm and includes tours of the old bakery. Entry is $5 with door prizes drawn every half an hour.
Free tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided, with barbecue honey chicken and sausages available for purchase.
