THE Bendigo Dragons are seeking veteran netballers to play at the Pan Pacific Masters Games on the Gold Coast next month.

The Dragons have entered two teams in the carnival, in the 50-plus and 60-plus age groups.
Spokeswoman Jenni Holborn said both teams were looking for extra players, particularly defenders.
“We need defenders, but we’d be happy to take anyone,” she said. “We have 10 games on outdoor courts in the 50-plus section, so we will need lots of fresh legs.”
A third team from central Victoria will also take part, playing in the 50-plus division under the name Colbo.
The Pan Pac masters netball competition runs from November 1 to 7. Ladies interested in joining either Dragons team can contact Jenni on 0419 375 227.
