The event, sponsored by Country Racing's Fashion Blogger, will showcase on trend fashions from more than 30 local boutiques and designers. 

Creative director Penny Holloway said the runway show always proved a highlight of the festival. 

"(The runway show) is a sensational combination of fashion and music, and with 450 guests, it is a full house and makes for an awesome atmosphere," she said. 

"There's 35 traders in the show which means over 100 models backstage.

"It's a huge project for us to undertake but it's such a buzz."

The show will feature fashions from Mona Lisa, the Styling Bird, Myer, Roger David and more. 

Festival sponsorship and marketing manager Sue Opie said the festival centered around the theme of buying local and supporting small business. 

"In this day and age we tend to use the internet a bit - let's go into a shop and try on those shoes and try on those clothes," she said.

The event is at the Bendigo Town Hall from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

Tickets cost $20 at the door.

Patrons will receive a gift bag.
