The Bendigo girl, 10, and her Shepparton dance partner, 12, claimed a swag of prizes at last month's prestigious South Pacific Dancesport Championships in Sydney.
The dynamic duo earned themselves four trophies including first place in the "new vogue" juvenile open style and second place in the "latin" category.
"I felt really excited," Berkley said.
"My dad won the same competition when he was younger and it was like I was making him so proud."
On Saturday, the pair will perform a floorshow at Bendigo's Glass Slipper Ball.
Berkley said she was excited to perform again.
"It's going to be really good, we're doing a latin dance and it's to Gatsby music, so I'm going to be all dressed up," she said.
Berkley has been dancing since she was four years old and trains for six hours each week.
Her mum Clare said the pair had been constantly improving and were excelling in their age bracket.
"We're ever so proud because the kids work so hard," Ms Wood said.
"All their training is now paying off and because they're doing so well, we're doing everything in our power to help them succeed."
