The pair won the senior best and fairest award ahead of Shannon Greetham and Isaac Trickey.
Walsh and May both had great seasons with the Bulldogs.
Trickey was also presented with the rookie of the year award.
Gisborne won 13 games this season, losing the preliminary final to Sandhurst.
Patrick McKenna, Ryan O'Meara and Brody Lamplugh won the goal kicking awards.
Kieran O'Gorman won the reserves best and fairest, ahead of Darcy Rocard.
Liam Rodgers won the Steve Simpson medal.
He was crowned the under-18 best and fairest winner after beating Tom Wood in the club count.
In the netball, two-time Betty Thompson medalist Tiana Newman won the A-grade best and fairest award.
The mid-court player finished ahead of versatile player Maddie Stewart.
The A-grade team lost to Golden Square in the preliminary final.
Stacey Luke won the A-reserve medal, Bridget Salter the B-grade, Jacqui Fraser the B-reserve and young gun Sammi Cooke won the under-17 best and fairest.
Gisborne's best clubman award was presented to Doug Belcher.
