Ms Gillard will only sign copies of the book purchased at the local Big W outlet.
Big W Bendigo Marketplace duty manager Helen Leech said Ms Gillard will be set up down the front of the store to sign her books from 12pm on Thursday, October 9.
"If people want a personal dedication, they will be able to write it on a post-it note beforehand," she said.
"They just have to show the book and docket to have it signed."
It will be the second time the former Prime Minister has attended a book signing at the Big W store in Bendigo.
Ms Leech said the signing should help her to shift a few more copies from the display at the front of the store.
"Her book sales have been a bit slow here," she said.
"When Ray Martin came here, his books went really fast.
"John Howard's didn't sell that quickly either, but he didn't have a display at the front of the store. He also didn't have a book signing so it isn't really fair to compare the two."
Ms Leech said it depended on the crowd on the day whether Ms Gillard would have time to speak to those in attendance.
