Cole and Johnson will join forces for Australia's under-17 team against the Allies.
The Pioneers clubmates are eligible for the 2015 AFL national draft.
The under-17 team is coached by Western Bulldogs great Brad Johnson.
Cole was selected in a back pocket for Saturday's clash with the Allies, a group of draft eligble players drawn from AFL national under-18 championship division two teams, NSW-ACT, Queensland, Northern Territory and Tasmania.
A classy midfielder or forward, Johnson was named on interchange.
Saturday's curtain-raiser continues a big footy season for Cole and Johnson.
Last weekend, Cole played in defence for Sandhurst in the Bendigo FNL's senior grand final.
Johnson is from Echuca and studies at Scotch College.
