The BFNL premiers spent Mad Monday at Braidie’s Tavern, the One Tree Hill Hotel and the Queen’s Arms Hotel soaking up their grand final triumph.
Skipper Shannon Geary dressed up as Batman, while forward Lachlan Sharp was Ali G.
Mullets, tight jeans and Ford/Holden t-shirts were the order of the day for Nick Smith, Jake Hall and Tom Bartholomew.
Sean Johns and Vinnie Flood put plenty of work into their Bart Simpson and Millhouse costumes.
Tom Dowd was the Karate Kid and Michael Pilcher channelled his inner rock god.
Elder statesman of the Storm side, Daniel Geary, played up to his title, dressing up as elderly gentleman in his pyjamas.
“The boys have had a lot of fun,’’ Storm president Glenn Cowling said.
“They deserve it. They put in a lot of hard work this year and to celebrate a premiership like this is great to see.”
Most players proudly displayed their premiership medals, including defender Ash Trollop.
While his team-mates partied, Trollop spent the day with his feet up, resting his injured Achilles.
Meanwhile, Sandhurst didn’t let the disappointment of losing Saturday’s BFNL grand final stop it from having a good time on Mad Monday.
The Dragons’ senior squad was joined by reserves premiership players at the Rifle Brigade Hotel.
Star quartet Tim Martin, Mitch Dole, Ryan Maldenis and Harry O’Meara stole the show in their Ninja Turtle costumes.
Youngsters Lachlan Ross (Austin Powers) and Alex Wharton (Colonel Sanders) showed plenty of creative flair, while wounded warrior Nick Stagg put his own unique styling on a superhero of sorts.
Skipper Blair Holmes went big for his version of Highlander and Lee Coghlan dressed up as Where’s Wally.
“Obviously, it would have been nice to win on Saturday, but the boys have recovered pretty well,’’ Sandhurst coach Brett Fitzpatrick said.
“We had a good day as a club at the QEO on Sunday where we celebrated the five teams (three football and two netball) making grand finals.
“Some of the boys have put a lot of effort into their costumes today… so it’s good to have some fun as a group.”
