BENDIGO Hawks duo Callum Moloney and Angus Verbeek hace returned home with a swag of medals following the Victorian State Age Short Course Championships.

Moloney, 13, had an impressive meet, he won silver in the 50m freestyle, going under the state record, and silver in the 100m freestyle.
He finished third in the 100m individual medley, taking almost four seconds off his best time and was also third in the 100m breast stroke.
The young gun also had top 10 finishes in the 200m individual medley, 100m backstroke and 200m freestyle.
Fifteen-year-old Angus Verbeek also continued his great form, winning a silver medal in the 100m backstroke and a bronze in the 100m individual medley.
Verbeek also took four seconds off his 200m breastroke personal best time to give him an open national qualifying time.
He also had top 10 finishes in the 50m freeystyle, 200m individual medley, 200m breastroke, 200m backstroke, 200m freestyle and 100m breastroke, in what was a very busy weekend of swimming.
Mitchell Horne and Tyson Jelbart also carried the Hawks flag proud with personal best times in the their respective events.
That Victorian State Age Short Course Championships was the final race of the short course season.
