GOLDEN Square’s B-reserve team was crowned champions after its grand final win on Saturday.
The Bulldogs had only lost one game of the year and headed into the deciding game as the red hot favourites.
They faced-off against South Bendigo, who were hoping to have a fairytale finish, after it finished fifth on the ladder.
However, it was Golden Square, who held on to win the premiership.
The final score was 42 to 36.
The Bloods did mount a fight-back in the final quarter, but they couldn’t bridge the gap.
