Goal umpires Leo Holland and Wayne Ford, and boundary umpires Bronte Annand and Caleb Ellis will wave the flags and toss the ball in the BFNL’s biggest game of the year.
Now in his 20th season of umpiring, Simon Bullow is the most experienced of the nine-member team.
It will be Bullow’s second time as a central umpire in a BFNL seniors decider.
He ran the boundary once in a battle for the Bendigo Advertiser premiership cup.
Bullow will team with Paul Hutchinson and John Norton as central umpires for the clash between Sandhurst and Strathfieldsaye.
It’s the second BNFL senior grand final appointment for Hutchinson and Norton who are in their seventh season of umpiring.
An all-teenage quartet of James Brown, Connor Ipsen, Caleb Ellis and Bronte Annand are the boundary umpires. Brown and Ipsen ran the boundary in last September’s grand final.
The emergency umpire for Saturday's seniors match is Marty Nadort.
Meanwhile, it was not just footy jumpers worn at Show Your Colours day at St Kilian’s Primary School on Friday.
Classmates in grade 1-2, Kade Hutchinson and Tascha Norton proudly wore their Bendigo Umpires Association kit in support of their dads, Paul and John, and all others who blow the whistle, run the boundary or signal the goals, points or out of bounds.
