The Napthine government’s 2014–2015 budget allocates 96 per cent of the state budget to Melbourne and four per cent to regional, rural and country Victoria.
You would have considered that as a candidate for the election and intending to represent Bendigo, that Michael Langdon would have championed the cause for a better deal for country Victorians. But no, Michael Langdon chooses to justify the expense of the construction of the East West Link in Melbourne, that doesn’t have a business plan and with an estimated cost of $8 billion but is actually expected to blow out to $16 billion.
There are plenty of issues close to home that Michael Langdon appears to be adverse to presenting in a debate or discussion in letters to the editor.
