Driver trades impounded car for train
A P-PLATE driver from Macedon had his car impounded after being caught almost 60km/h over the speed limit in New Gisbourne this morning.

Police detected the car travelling at 141km/h in an 80km/h zone on Hamilton Road about 8.30am.
The man, 19, told police he was running late for his train.
The man had his vehicle immediately impounded for 30 days with an impound cost of $1225.
He will be summonsed to attend court at a later date.
