The card includes 19 bouts and two exhibition contests.
Hit Factory in Golden Square will be well represented throughout the day's action at the All Seasons Hotel in McIvor Road.
Cup promoter and Hit Factory trainer Danniel Burton said Sunday's card could grow to 25 bouts.
"A lot will depend on matches as the week goes on."
The Victorian Amateur Boxing Association-sanctioned event drew a lot of competitors to last year's tournament.
Burton said among the many highs was the chance for the Bendigo-based boxers to compete in their hometown.
Sunday's action begins at noon, with Hit Factory's Tom Fitzgerald in an exhibition bout with Stewart Fraser in the 63kg division.
Hit Factory's Jocelyn Amait will trade blows with reigning Australian 54kg champion Carly Salmon, also from Bendigo, in an exhibition contest.
Goldfields Cup battles will include Hit Factory's heavyweight Ezra White against Danny Howard, who is formerly of Bendigo and younger brother of Pat, who was trained by Burton.
Danny Taggert from Bendigo will take on Corey Pyle in the 64kg class.
"Both have a lot of power and move quickly," Burton said.
Keenan Gallagher from the Hit Factory will take on Eric Ooi in the 69kg division.
"This should be a really good match," Burton said.
"Keenan is capable of throwing big blows and quickly. Workrate will be important."
Factory's young guns on the card include Jake Brand, Jye Caldwell and Tully Scanlon,
"There are a lot of younger boxers coming through," Burton said.
"Their willingness to learn and work hard is fantastic.
"Jye, Tully and Lachie are top performers in a varieyt of sports. They have a big future in whatever sport they choose."
Other boxers from Hit Factory warming up for Sunday's bouts are Jake Brand, 75kg; Dempsey Roylance, 69kg; and Josh Cruse, 66kg.
The Goldfields Cup card includes some of the Bendigo Amateur Boxing Club who have been trained by Pat Connolly and gained tips from Olympic and Commonwealth Games representative Lynden Hosking from Hosking's Boxing.
The BBAC will be represented by Jake Pfeiffer in an all-Bendigo match with Sheldon Burke from Hit Factory.
The in-form Rafaeles will take on the aptly-named Ryan Glover.
