The NSW girls defeated South Australia 4-1 in their morning clash before backing up in the afternoon with an emphatic 5-0 thumping of Western Australia.
The WA and SA girls clashed earlier in the day and they shared the points in a 1-1 draw.
ACT girls collected the full points after defeating the NT 1-0.
Day two action on Tuesday gets underway from 9am, with the Victorian boys taking on Northern Territory and the WA girls clashing with Queensland.
The Victorian boys also face South Australia in a crucial contest from 3.15pm.
The match of the day in the girls section is at 12.45pm with Queensland doing battle with New South Wales.
