The festival, sponsored by Country Racing's Fashion Blogger, will be launched on September 24 and will run over two weeks. 

Creative director Penny Holloway said the festival was a must for fashion lovers.  

"We've worked really hard this year to make Bendigo Fashion Festival as good as some of the biggest fashion festivals in Melbourne," she said. 

"But the great thing about our festival is everything you see throughout the shows is readily available.

"While you will definitely have heard of the stores and brands that participate in the events, it's our job as the festival to inspire you and show you how to style."

Ms Holloway said more than 1000 tickets to the festival are expected to sell.

She said highlights included the popular runway show on October 2 and a High Fashion, High Tea.

"Everyone get ready - expect champagne flowing, snapping cameras, red carpets, goodie bags, models galore, music, prizes and an insane atmosphere," she said.
