The Bendigo Motor Group bought the brand, about 18 months ago, when it was located at High Street, Bendigo.
Owner Phil Palma said Audi was a quality brand.
"I felt it was going to complement what we already have (at the Bendigo Motor Group) as a car business," he said.
"I thought it was the right thing to do and to keep the brand in the town.
"That was the next thing, some of these smaller brands, the prestige brands, don't sell a lot of cars and we wanted to give the option to people in Bendigo and central Victoria to still be able to buy an Audi without having to go to Melbourne."
The Bendigo Motor Group is made up of Ford, Suzuki, Ssangyong, Great Wall, European and Audi.
Mr Palma said his business prided itself on being transparent.
"I pride my business on the fact that (customers) can contact me anytime," he said.
"The reason I put (Phil Palma on the number plates) is for (customers) to know that if something goes wrong there is a Phil Palma that they can ring and complain or say thanks for the service.
"I think one of the things I always found is (customers) don't know who to contact if something goes wrong, at least in our business they know that there is a face to the business."
Mr Palma said the Audi dealership included sales, service and parts.
"I see Audi as not far off from being the number one prestige brand in Australia," he said.
"People talk about Mercedes and BMWs, which have been here a lot longer, but Audi Australia has definitely grown. Everyone likes to drive an Audi.
"You don't have to be the wealthy person to drive an Audi, it suits all people."
Mr Palma said he was looking forward to welcoming new and existing clients to the new showroom.
"Audi Bendigo has made a sizeable investment in the community with the opening of the showroom to ensure clients have the full Audi experience," he said.
