The Roos shot 12 goals in the quarter and kept the reigning premiers, Gisborne, to just five goals, in the second semi-final on Sunday.
Despite the Bulldogs making a change in the goal-ring in the final quarter, it wasn't enough, with the Roos racing into another grand final.
At the final whistle the score was 43 to 36.
"The girls put in a really good four quarter effort," Kangaroo Flat coach Janelle Hobbs said.
"Their pressure was amazing on the opposition.
"There is work still to be done, but it was a really tough, pressure game right throughout and to win the game by seven was great."
Gisborne held onto a one goal lead at half-time with the Stewart sisters, Annie and Maddie working well together.
However Roos defenders Monica Wellington and Alicia McGlashan turned it around in the second half, causing several turnovers and grabbing key rebounds.
"The third quarter is known as the premiership quarter and the girls really lifted," Hobbs said.
"We probably didn't play our best in the first half and we knew we had another 30 per cent to give once we settled into our game.
"They all played their role, we didn't have any passengers, they all knew what they had to do and they played strong."
Hobbs said she was relieved her team had earned the week off and had a chance of winning the A-grade flag.
"I am really happy for the girls, we have been working on this for a couple of years now," she said.
"We have three teams in the grand finals and two playing next week, so it has been a fantastic effort by the club."
