The business, which opened in the 1880s, has undergone a $5 million renovation to allow for the expansion of its hardware range and the introduction of new lines of product.
Managing director Stephen Iser said the upgrade was a milestone for the business.
"This has been such an exciting time for our family business," he said.
"The support from our staff and the community while we renovated was incredible.
"We’re really looking forward to showing off our upgrade to our loyal customers."
The upgrade was officially opened by Premier Denis Napthine on Friday and will open to the public today.
There will be giveaways, face painting, prizes and a photo booth.
"We’re determined to continue to support the community who support us," Ms Iser said.
The store is located in Charleston Road, Bendigo.
