THE top seeds dominated most contests in Tuesday's play at the AMT Bendigo Platinum tennis classic.
Seeded first and sixth in the women's draw, Viktorija and Monika Rajicic were victorious on the Bendigo Bank complex hardcourts in Nolan Street.
The tournament's No.1 seed, Viktorija Rajicic achieved a straight-sets win against Maddie Antoun, 7-5 6-0.
The match between Monika Rajicic and Samyuthka Rajagopalan went for almost two hours.
After a 4-6 loss in the opening set, sixth-seeded Monika Rajicic struck back to take the contest, 6-4 6-1.
The fifth-seeded Zoe Hives had a hard-fought win against Jessica Brzozowska.
A contest that went more than two hours ended in a 7-5 7-6 (5) win by Hives.
All of the tournament's seeded players in the women's draw won their matches.
The fourth-seeded Masa Jovanovic defeated Gabriela Ruffels, 6-1 6-3.
One of the most convincinng performances was by Alana Paranby.
The No.7 seed conceded just one game in a 6-0 6-1 win against Emily Holgate.
The third-seeded Katherine Westbury beat Harriette North, 6-1 6-2, as Nicole Kraemer and Danielle McIntyre swept through after straight-sets victories.
In the men's draw. No. 1 seed Daniel Byrnes was in hot form as he beat Socrates Leon Tsoronis, 6-2 6-0.
The second-seeded Aaron Leeder-Chard scored a 6-3 6-4 win against Henryk Pawlukowski.

Paul Kramberger played brilliantly to beat the sixth-seeded Sam Dowler, 7-5 6-3.
Number three seed Daniel Ferretti was eliminated by Themi Sitzoukis, 6-3 6-2.
The fourth-seeded Daniel Guccione won 6-3 6-0 against Joshua Tran.
After a 6-1 defeat in the opening set, Jeremy Beale stuck back to beat Adam Haanappel 6-1 7-5.
The victory by the eighth-seeded Beale took 2 hours and 20 minutes.
